Don Weatherbee is CEO of Regenx, a clean technology company transforming how critical metals like platinum and palladium are recovered. With a background in mining and operations, Don now leads Regenx’s mission to scale low-energy, chemical-based recycling of diesel catalytic converters, helping reduce waste, cut emissions, and build circular supply chains.
Under his leadership, Regenx has commissioned its first processing plant in Tennessee, turning end-of-life vehicle parts into valuable raw materials. Don works with manufacturers and recyclers to close the loop on critical metals and reduce reliance on mining in high-risk regions. He’s passionate about making metal recovery both environmentally and economically viable for the long term.
